Davis Bros can clear your land or ditches in a number of different ways. A drum mulcher will allow us to mulch invasive trees in place. We then treat the root base with TORDON so the tree does not regenerate and leave the root base intact in an effort to curb erosion. This is especially important on stream and ditch banks.
Smaller invasive trees with shallow root systems, like Honeysuckle, can be pulled with a tree puller. In the case of Honey Locust trees with large thorns, pulling up to a 10” tree is a good solution, as it keeps the thorns attached and contained, so you can avoid flat tires.
Hedge rows or fence rows can be stripped using the 250G excavator. Stripping the branches that overhang into the field allows you to farm up to the fencerow and not lose farmable land to branches that overhang and damage your equipment and scratch your combine gull wings.
